Commission for FOYER - an independent print magazine exploring culture, art and heritage from the point of view of people from mixed, second-generation and third culture backgrounds.

This piece was inspired by childhood summer holidays spent at my grandma’s smallholding in rural southwest France where the days stretched out endlessly ahead of us. To keep entertained, we’d fire up our imaginations by seeking out mini adventures in the surrounding nature.
