Hi, I’m Danielle.

I create joyful, characterful illustrations that find the magic in everyday moments.

What lights me up as an illustrator? Combining my creative and problem-solving skills to create illustrations that look lovely while delivering results. That could mean getting more customers through the door, giving them a reason to pick your product off the shelf, or simply helping them to fall in love a little bit more with your brand.

Who do I work with?

Many of my clients are in the retail, hospitality, and visitor attraction space where I help them to stand out, offer a unique experience, and connect with their community and customers. I’m proud to have worked with a wonderful mix of businesses across a range of projects from illustrated maps to window murals, facilitating workshops and more.

What’s my story?

I came to illustration the long way round, via a career in marketing and product management.

I learned a lot about business, people and making things happen, but eventually, the pull towards illustration became impossible to ignore and I set out to learn everything I could.

Fast forward a few years and throw in an Illustration MA, a move to the seaside, and plenty of creative experimentation, I’ve found what truly lights me up.

Today, I live in Brighton with my husband and three rescue cats: Dusty, Twiggy and Lulu. When I’m not drawing, sunny evenings on the beach are my happy place. When that’s not an option – you’ll likely find me dreaming up my next holiday.

Kind words from happy customers

Window art at William Morris Society, viewed from the inside at dusk

“Working with Danielle was a pleasure from start to finish. She understood our brief from the outset and created a beautiful William Morris–inspired design for our museum's front windows. The visitor entrance is now far more inviting, and we regularly see visitors stopping by to take a closer look.”

— Gabriella Esser, William Morris Society

“Working with Danielle was an amazing experience. Immediately from the initial call, she understood my vision. The mood board experience helped me put into visuals the style I was looking for, even if I couldn't explain it verbally. Even though what I wanted was a little adjacent to the other maps (mapping an idea versus a place), she was able to translate my vision into exactly what I had hoped for. The minute I saw the first draft, I was in love. The revisions were minor, so much care was taken that the final result had zero notes!”

Winter window art at a coffee shop

“So massively impressed with Danielle's incredible art. We commissioned her to do some work on our coffee shop, and it was everything we envisioned and more 🤗 her work is so tasteful. Thank you, Danielle!”

— Jeanna Walker, Oatley Coffee
