I worked with the Federation of Small Businesses to create illustrations for their policy report ‘The Future of High Street’. The report sets out a bold new vision for the next generation of the high street, where small businesses are the driving force behind a thriving, dynamic, and inclusive future.

The project included:

Front cover design for the report, featuring an independent shop with window art

An infographic page, featuring 10 key stats from the report, illustrated in the style of an imagined high street map.

Social media assets, again highlighting key stats from the report.

Individual assets which were used throughout the report and across social media.

Illustration inspired by Brighton's murmurations. It shows a woman and child watching the starlings swirl over Brighton's palace pier, against a sunset sky.

Mock up design for a craft beer label inspired by the Northern Soul movement. The label features three characters who are lost in the moment as they dance to rare grooves, complementing the name of the brew: Out on the Floor.

Personal project – looping animated gif of a scenic train journey. This piece came from an observational sketch while travelling through Switzerland by train. I noticed that the whole carriage (myself included) was scrolling through their phones, rather than out the window at the incredible scenery.

Speculative project illustrating the different dishes sampled on a foodie tour of Hong Kong.

Flyer design for Bird and Blend’s monthly tea club subscription, based on the theme: pancakes.

My book-themed design was selected to be part of Wild in Art's 'Big Hoot' art trail in Chichester. My hand-painted sculpture was sponsored by Lloyds Bank to be placed in front of the library during the 6-week art trail.

I love tapping into these drawing prompts to spark ideas around a theme, create imagined scenes and play around with colours.

Illustrated map of the parade route for Lowestoft Carnival to be used across their printed and digital materials. The brief was to create an inspiring map that captures the fun of the event, while also providing practical information on the carnival route and timings. The map features key landmarks along the parade route and some of the specific activities and facilities that will be available on the day.

Personal project inspired by a brief from the AOI's Inside Illustration series.

The brief was to illustrate a cover for a pocket-sized walking guide to a city of your choice, complete with a hand-lettered title.

My design aims to reflect the colourful character of this seaside city, with a couple of its most iconic landmarks set against the rolling backdrop of the South Downs.

A guided tour to the seaside town of Folkestone in map form, highlighting some of the public art, delicious food and coastal walks that can be experienced there.

This illustration shows two female friends putting the world to rights while enjoying a crisp autumn walk.
